So Ya Wanna Be A Broadway Star: Actor Meet and Greet & Showcase Performance

 NPT Scott Bryce CollageJoin Broadway, television, and film star Scott Bryce and New Paradigm Theater for the first So Ya Wanna be a Broadway Star Showcase and Actor Meet and Greet at Pequot Library.

Each year New Paradigm Theater offers aspiring performers the chance to work with Broadway, television, and film actors to perfect their "craft." In this showcase event, Mr. Bryce will discuss his life and career as an actor.

He will introduce the "future stars" he worked with earlier in the day in a workshop focused on monologues.  Each "star" will present his or her own monologue in a very special performance.

Scott Bryce is currently a cast member on the CBS All Access show The Good Fight, and the producer and star in the Fred Stroppel play, Small World, which will begin playing at The White Heron Theater on Nantucket in July. Mr. Bryce is a graduate of Staples High School in Westport, and currently a resident of Weston. He has had an extensive acting career on stage, television and film, as well as on and off Broadway, and in regional theatre.

On television, he was twice nominated for a Best Actor Daytime Emmy award for his work on As the World Turns. He has guest starred in dozens of TV series including: ER, Reba, Sex in the City, Law and Order: SVU, Gossip Girl, 30 Rock, and Person of Interest. Mr. Bryce was also a series regular on WB’s Popular. His other roles include: Major Tom Foster on the Showtime hit Homeland, sociopath CEO Frank Drexler on the mid-season NBC series Deception, and Dr. Alex Gardner on CBS’ Blue Bloods.

Mr. Bryce starred with Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Beals in the Joel Schumacher directed series, 2000 Malibu Road. He has also played supporting roles in films such as, Above Freezing, Ghost Dog, Lethal Weapon 3, and Up Close and Personal with Robert Redford and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Behind the camera, Bryce has produced and directed commercials for Addidas, Sign Story, CBS Outer Net, and Best Buy. Mr. Bryce co- produced Frederick Douglass-From Slavery to Freedom, and produced and directed two films, Elsiha Stockwell and Sybil Ludington for the Young American Heroes series for Public Television. He is a producer director at Palace Digital Studios in Norwalk, where he creates brand integration entertainment comedies, and is a producer director for Magic Dog Creative, also in Norwalk, where he wrote, pitched, sold and produced commercials for the Ausinal Migraine Spray campaign.
