Thursday, April 20, 2017, 04:30pm - 05:30pm
This repeat is an exception to the normal repeat pattern

compressed for kids scratch tutor and studentFor Ages 6-8

Join Brain Boost in this two part course (March 30 and April 6) and learn how to code with Scratch, one of the most popular coding tools for kids!  Scratch is designed to help students with little to no coding experience dive headfirst into programming. Kids will learn how to design their own Tic-Tac-Toe game and art projects with “Spiralizer.”

Coding helps kids develop problem solving skills and resilience as they face new challenges head on and learn to embrace making mistakes and how to learn from them.

No prior experience is necessary; just bring yourself and a laptop or tablet computer! To register please call the Children's Library.

A limited number of computers are available to borrow during class time. Please indicate during registration if you would like to borrow a computer. Free and open to the public.
