About the Presenters:
Nicole “Nikki” Bowler Pecknold is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, focused on the financial needs of women. She specializes in helping female investors, working with them to develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, net worth preservation, tax strategies, retirement planning, and estate planning strategies. Pecknold began her career in private client services at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). Then she joined Citigroup as an investment banker and later moved to the Fixed Income Capital Markets group at UBS. For over a decade, she structured highly successful multibillion-dollar deals and was recognized for her efforts in founding and building UBS’ High Yield Corporate Derivatives business. In 2011, Pecknold became one of just six female Managing Directors (out of 200) in the Fixed Income department. She has a passion for financial services and wealth management strategies for private clients. Pecknold received a BA, magna cum laude, in psychology, from Duke where she was a Division 1 Academic All-American athlete, and a MBA with a concentration in finance from Yale School of Management. She resides in Southport, CT, with her husband, Rand Pecknold, and four children.
Trevor Crow Mullineaux is an author, talk show host, licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), and ICEEFT-certified emotionally focused therapist (EFT) supervisor. She specializes in relational therapy. Mullineaux believes that our well-being is profoundly affected by the quality of our relationships. Her aphorism “We Help” is supported by her testament, “When our connections with those surrounding us are safe and inclusive, we thrive.” In her 2013 book published by New Horizon Press, Forging Healthy Connections: How Relationships Fight Illness, Aging and Depression, co-authored with Maryann Karinch, Mullineaux’s theory is proven by science: The healthier our relationships are, the healthier we are physically, living longer and more productively.
Her latest book, Blending Families: Merging Households with Kids 8-18, also co-authored with Karinch, addresses the trickiest aspects of creating stepfamilies. With over 50 percent of American children living with a non-biological parent, and divorce rates for second marriages over 60 percent, helping families blend is one of Mullineaux’s missions in life. She currently resides in Connecticut. In her down time Mullineaux enjoys yoga, lots of hugs from her loved ones, trips to the beach, and winter sports.
Melissa Reagan Brunetti received her certifications in clinical nutrition from the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy in Encinitas, CA and as an Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutritional Advisor from the Health Sciences Academy London, UK. Brunetti was a contributing blogger on the Huffington Post, and her many articles on health have appeared in local publications.
She is continually expanding her knowledge in order to better serve her client base. She has completed a master’s course on MTHFR, methylation, estrogen metabolism and biochemistry, which included the use and interpretation of functional lab and genetic testing to enhance client assessments and the development and implementation of biochemical-specific nutrient therapies.
Her private practice, Embrace Balanced Health, is located in Westport, CT. Brunetti is a yoga and fitness enthusiast and spends her spare time with her husband and two children.
