About the Camp
Give your child the chance to train like a Broadway performer and take the stage with confidence.
The Pequot Library Broadway Conservatory is a high-energy, one-week immersive experience where young performers (ages 7–13) build real skills in singing, acting, and performance guided by professional artists from the worlds of Broadway, opera, and live music. From day one, campers step into a supportive, conservatory-style environment designed to help them find their voice, grow their confidence, and shine on stage. At the heart of this year’s Conservatory is a unifying creative theme inspired by Pequot Library’s Special Collections, drawing from materials that explore the story of America’s founding and the spirit of the Revolutionary era. The program weaves storytelling and history into performance in a way that feels creative and accessible, bringing ideas to life on stage.
Throughout the week, students work side-by-side with an exceptional faculty, including a Juilliard-trained opera singer, a Broadway performer, and a professional musician, receiving hands-on coaching in vocal technique, acting, movement, and stage presence. They won’t just learn, they will rehearse, collaborate, and create, just like working performers do.
The experience culminates in a live, fully staged performance for family and friends, where each camper takes ownership of their work and steps into the spotlight. Whether your child is brand new to the stage or ready to deepen their skills, this program offers something special: the chance to build confidence, develop real performance skills, and experience the thrill of live theatre.
To ensure a high-quality and personalized experience, enrollment is limited to just 20 campers.
