Pequot Library is excited to bring back a beloved community event, Pequot Presents: The Oscars. Gather in the Library’s historic auditorium to view all of the Academy Award Best Picture nominees prior to the Academy Awards on March 10th.
Director: Martin Scorsese
Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert DeNiro, and Lily Gladstone
Description: Based on David Grann’s award winning book of the same name, Killers of the Flower Moon sheds light on one of America’s darkest chapters. In the early twentieth century, the Osage indigenous people were some of the wealthiest individuals, per capita, on American soil. However, soon, adventurers, conmen, and criminals grew greedy, resulting in tragedy.
