Artists Mobilize: Graphic Art During the World Wars

During the first and second world wars, artists and illustrators found work creating powerful images intended to sway the public to support military efforts. This display of a selection of posters in Pequot Library’s collections is organized in partnership with Fairfield University Art Museum’s upcoming exhibition In Real Times. Arthur Szyk: Artist and Soldier for Human Rights, which will be on view in the museum’s Bellarmine Hall Galleries between September 29 and December 16, 2023.
