In conjunction with the fall exhibition, A Community Treasure: Pequot Library Turns 135, teams from Bridgeport Public School middle and high schools will debate issues related to public libraries for their October debate in Pequot Library’s auditorium, including whether parents should be able to control the books their teens check out from public libraries. Teams will debate issues related to Native American Heritage Month for their November debate. These events are free and open to the public.
