History is often best explored through the beverages and cuisine of a particular era. To help get into the mind of Charles Dickens, author of the holiday classic A Christmas Carol, join renowned writer, historian, and bartender Al Culliton as they take participants through the process of making authentic eggnog, punches, and more.

Culliton is a transmasculine writer, historian, and bartender based in the hilltowns of western Massachusetts. Their work currently focuses on the intersection of American cocktails, food, and culture from the age of punch through the 1960s and, sometimes, the 21st century.
