Let’s Get Sewing!

Yes, kids can safely sew on a machine! Kids will learn all about how a machine works, threading, operating, and troubleshooting. We’ll begin machine sewing by tracing simple lines on thick fabric, learning how to sew forward and backward. We’ll also learn hand stitching utilizing embroidery thread and felt to create cute animals like teddy bears, dogs, and cats, which can be embellished with fun buttons, sequins, bling, fancy stitches, and more. Projects will include pin cushions, LOTS of stuffed animals, and more. You’ll be speeding along in no time! Bring your own nut-free snacks and beverages for break time. Fee: $225 includes a $25 material fee.
