Celebrate the winter solstice by exploring the night sky with Mike Francis and his inflatable Starlab planetarium in Pequot Library’s auditorium! Children and families will identify individual stars and constellations in a remarkably realistic night sky projected onto the ceiling of the planetarium dome. Francis, a physical science and physics teacher, lectured for 10 years at the Charles Hayden Planetarium at Boston’s Museum of Science.
