Join Pequot Library and local Connecticut author Beatriz Williams for a glamorous afternoon discussing her recent release Husbands & Lovers. Beatriz Williams is the New York Times, USA Today, and internationally bestselling author of Our Woman in Moscow, The Summer Wives, Her Last Flight, The Golden Hour, The Secret Life of Violet Grant, A Hundred Summers, and several other works of historical fiction. 

Timeless and bittersweet, Husbands And Lovers draws readers on an unforgettable journey of heartbreak and redemption, from the revolutionary fires of midcentury Egypt to the moneyed beaches of contemporary New England. It has also been chosen as A Book of the Month Club main selection, TODAY Show “Best Beach Read” and a LibraryReads Hall of Fame selection. Beatriz will deliver a talk followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Each ticket includes lunch, a glass of wine, and a $5 voucher to purchase the Beatriz Williams book of your choice. 

VIP tickets include a private, pre-luncheon “Meet and Greet” with the author and a glass of Henri’s Reserve champagne.

Several raffle items, including a Zoom appearance at your next Book Club meeting by the author herself, will be offered as well.

Pequot Library’s Literary Luncheon is a fundraiser, and a portion of your ticket price is tax-deductible. Proceeds support Pequot Library’s general operating budget. Tickets are limited and non-refundable. Tickets will not be sold at the door. 

About Beatriz Williams

Beatriz Williams is the New York Times, USA Today, and internationally bestselling author of Our Woman in MoscowThe Summer Wives, Her Last Flight, The Golden Hour, The Secret Life of Violet GrantA Hundred Summers, and several other works of historical fiction, including four novels in collaboration with fellow bestselling authors Karen White and Lauren Willig. A graduate of Stanford University with an MBA in Finance from Columbia University, Beatriz worked as a communications and corporate strategy consultant in New York and London before her first novel was published in 2012.
