Thank you for your interest in presenting a program at Pequot Library. Please review the following and submit an application for consideration. The Library welcomes program ideas and submissions from the public.

Speakers Bureau:

Pequot Library offers offsite lectures and talks regarding our institution’s history, as well as what makes our Special Collections so well regarded. To inquire about availability, please fill out this form.

Mission:

Pequot Library enriches lives by serving the cultural, educational, and intellectual needs of the entire community.

The library collects, preserves, and makes accessible a collection of rare books, manuscripts, and archives; provides public library services; organizes engaging programs about history, literature, and the arts; curates Special Collections exhibitions; and hosts community-wide gatherings in a historic setting.

Purpose of Programs:

Pequot Library designs and implements programs intended to highlight and underscore our mission. As a special collections library, with a circulating collection, our programs are unique and must relate to our special collections, local history, and other areas of cultural interest.

We work with community partners to further the cultural and intellectual needs of our extended community.
